The activities started at Homebush Training Track:
The Sports Science staff of the Sydney Academy of Sport conducted athlete
testing. Athletes were tested in a variety of areas eg skinfolds, height,
weight, NSWIS Protocol 3 x 300m Lactate Testing, Shuttle run, throwing
a shot a variety of ways, 60m timing gates, vertical jump, Drop jump.
ANSW Development Officer Madeleine Blakeney gave a short talk to
the group.
Goal Setting Session was presented by Sports Psychologist Sharon Burden.
Athletes participated in an activity with their event group coaches.

Day 2
The activities started at Homebush State Sports Centre where the squad
participated in two sessions:
Recovery Techniques Seminar by Saleena Kendall.
Strength & Conditioning Seminar by Dave Clarke of the NSWIS
Both were very informative. Especially worth mentioning were some of
the Core Stability Ideas presented in the Strength & Conditioning Seminar.
